Little Joe Cartwright

It's a lovely night for a square dance. The sun is just setting off in the west, giving everything a rosy orange-y glow. Joe's waiting at the corner, tugging a bit awkwardly on his good shirt collar.

He's waiting for River and [groan] her brother to arrive.

Inside the large converted barn building behind him, the dance has already begun. There's a fiddle starting up followed by a few other instruments as more players arrive. The lights are brighter inside and people are starting to pair up as the caller works on calling the dancing.

ooc: open to anyone who wants to jump in! don't feel like you have to talk to Joe either, it's a public square dance after all. This was started in response to a firefly/bonanza crossover thread or two.
